Chaé Gratschner, MSc

Chaé Gratschner is a dedicated and warm-hearted psychologist with a focus on clinical-psychological diagnostics and counseling. She supports children, adolescents and adults when psychological stress, difficulties at school or emotional issues call for a clear assessment and targeted support.

She is particularly interested in psychological test diagnostics, which she sees not only as a measuring instrument, but also as a way of understanding people in a differentiated way. By combining scientific methodology with an empathic approach, she is able to interpret behavior, thinking and experience in their respective developmental and life contexts. Her work in child protection facilities, in the justice system and in socio-psychiatric contexts has given her a deep understanding of people in crisis.

In her work, she pays particular attention to psychological development in childhood and adolescence, the interplay of emotion, identity and relationships, and the effects of stress and trauma on experience.

Two questions to Gratschner, MSc

It can systematically record certain abilities, performance levels, or patterns of behavior and enable comparisons. However, it becomes meaningful only when results are combined with biographical data, observations, and current experience.
My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, ADHD and autism, as well as compulsions, eating disorders and addiction. In addition, there are personality disorders, burnout, stress, LGBT issues, grief and anger.
