Lea Viktoria Schmidecker is characterized by her empathetic, friendly and cordial manner, with which she always succeeds in creating a familiar and pleasant atmosphere that enables sound clinical-psychological diagnostics, counselling and treatment.
After completing her studies in clinical psychology, she continued her training in order to offer the best possible approaches for the psychological support of adults, adolescents and children. At the University Hospital AKH Vienna, she gained extensive specialist knowledge and experience, primarily in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, which she now brings to Vienna's child and youth welfare service. Her caring yet professional approach creates a safe space for children and parents in which they feel understood and in good hands.
The focus of her work with young adults and adults includes personal development, support with decision-making and life crises as well as support with relationship problems and women-specific issues. She also offers counseling in the areas of stress management and psychosomatic complaints.
She also works as a lecturer at the SFU Vienna and is committed to the further development and networking of child psychology through her memberships in the Professional Association of Austrian Psychologists and the Austrian Society for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
